The Indian Relay championship heats at Northwest Territorial Days in North Battleford begin Friday night at 6 p.m.
Preliminary heats were held Thursday evening to determine the championship field.
The first race will be the fourth consolation final, featuring teams that placed fifth in their preliminary heats: TK Farrier, Big Child and Bear Hill.
The third consolation final will follow, featuring Flying Pelican, Snake Hill, Moosey and Blue Hill.
The second consolation final will feature Stick, In It to Win It, Five-Thirty Racing and NVB.
The final race before the championship will feature Black Bear, TL Stables, Chief Pidhernay and Rezz Raxx.
The championship heat will feature Northern Sky, KL Stables, White Lightning and Treaty Six Two Nations.
The teams are competing for portions of the $70,000 purse, with the top prize winner taking home $8000, and the last place finisher winning $1600.
