Battlefords RCMP are investigating a fatal collision between a semi-truck and a pedestrian.
On July 10, around 1:55 a.m., RCMP received a report of a collision on Highway 16, approximately eight kilometers west of North Battleford.
Officers, local fire, and EMS responded and declared the pedestrian deceased at the scene. He has been identified as a 32-year-old man from Canoe Narrows. His family has been notified.
The sole occupant of the semi-truck reported no physical injuries to police.
Battlefords RCMP continues to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
