Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for the Battlefords region.
Forecasters say conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail, and heavy downpours.
The agency warns that severe weather can cause damage to roofs, fences, trees, and temporary or soft‑sheltered structures.
Severe thunderstorm watches are issued when atmospheric conditions could lead to storms with damaging wind, hail, or heavy rain. The watch currently covers 64 areas across western Saskatchewan, stretching from Onion Lake south to the U.S. border.
