The Town of Wilkie’s medical clinic expansion project has received financial support from two neighbouring rural municipalities (RM).
The RM of Redford presented a $30,000 cheque to the project, along with a further commitment of $30,000. The RM of Buffalo has also committed $12,000 over the next four years.

The Town of Wilkie thanked both municipalities for their contributions in a Facebook post, saying the support demonstrates the importance of working together to strengthen regional health care.
The $260,000 project will add five patient rooms to the existing two-room clinic, increasing its capacity to accommodate more patients and additional health-care providers. Construction is expected to be completed by the end of December.
