Parts of Saskatchewan could be in store for more unsettled weather on Saturday.
This comes after a Friday evening that featured significant storm activity in western Saskatchewan and other areas.
Environment and Climate Change Canada has issued a yellow Tornado Watch for much of western and north-central Saskatchewan.
Communities under the watch include Prince Albert, North Battleford, Meadow Lake, all the way south to Saskatoon and Kerrobert.
“A developing low-pressure system over Central Alberta will lead to scattered thunderstorm development this afternoon and evening,” the alert read. “Significant damage or destruction to infrastructure, homes and the natural environment is possible.”
A yellow Severe Thunderstorm watch is in effect for much of eastern Saskatchewan, while areas northeast of Nipawin are under a yellow Air Quality warning.
