One man is dead following an altercation with another man at a home in Marshall in the early morning hours of Thursday.
Maidstone RCMP received the report after one of the men called for medical help. Officers and emergency services responded to the residence on 2nd Avenue, where both men were suffering from injuries.
One of the men was pronounced deceased by paramedics en route to hospital, while the other was transported with injuries described as non-life-threatening.
Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes is now investigating the incident and have arrested one man in connection, although no charges have been laid at this time.
In the meantime, RCMP are asking residents in Marshall who may have home security and doorbell cameras to check for any potential information or activity between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m. on April 24. If any activity is found, police ask that it be reported by calling 310-RCMP or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
