A level one fire ban has been issued for the Rural Municipality of Frenchman Butte.
Effective immediately, all open burning is banned except for fires with supervision such as campfires and barbecues provided there is an extinguishing plan.
According to the notice, all burning permits issued are invalid until further notice.
